SPRING INTO LEARNING AT THE FOURTH WYNDHAM LEARNING FESTIVAL!
As one of the first and biggest learning festivals in Australia, the Wyndham Learning Festival encourages learning for all ages, interests and abilities with over 130 free events across the City of Wyndham. From 1-8 September there’s something for everyone. Try something new, spring into learning!
Learning does not stop when we leave school; rather we continue to learn and grow throughout our lives acquiring new skills and knowledge. Learning helps us to open ourselves up to life, adventure, and be curious about our world. Learning is central to our wellbeing, prosperity and a sense of belonging.
We are excited to showcase many of the wonderful learning opportunities available in Wyndham. There’s no better time to try something new during the free Wyndham Learning Festival.
Festival events include pyrography, craft, hip hop, bowls, gardening, painting, cooking, LEGO, African drumming, creative writing, knitting, Spanish, ceramics, drawing, gaming, music therapy, dancing and Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). But wait, there’s more - – Craig Reucassel brings his war on waste to Wyndham, listen to author talks, compete in the Young Scientist of Wyndham competition, enjoy music from a local High School Chamber Group, improve your CV and interview skills, achieve better sleep, practice your English, join the Wyndham Park Party in the Precinct and Pop Up School, talk to the animals at Rhyme Time at the Zoo, hear inspirational stories of refugee survival, learn about local Aboriginal culture…the possibilities are (almost) endless.
This app will help you plan your Learning Festival week and book into your selected events. You can access feedback surveys for events you attend to help us make the Festival even better next year. And go into the running to win a great prize as a reward!
